GUIDE 01

Nail Preparation (Prep)

The foundation for every application

Prep is the step where the nail is prepared for product application to help ensure a secure, beautiful, and long-lasting result.

View our full nail preparation guide
Step 1

Step 1

Gently push back your cuticles on each nail with your cuticle pusher. Use the opposite side to remove any dead skin from the surface of the nail.

Step 2

Step 2

Carefully trim away any excess cuticle with the Cuticle Nipper.

Step 3

Step 3

Gently buff the nail plate to make the surface of the nail matte. This removes natural oils from the nail plate and ensures that the products adhere firmly to the nail.

Step 4

Step 4

Remove any traces of dirt, impurities, or oil residue from the nails using our Cleanser and a Lint-Free Pad. The nail plate should be clean to achieve the best results.

Step 5

Step 5

Optional step

Finally, use our Dehydrator. Apply it to the entire nail plate, then allow your nails to air-dry for 60 seconds.

PLEASE NOTE

We recommend applying a coat of Primer after Dehydrator to create a tacky layer on the nail before application.

GUIDE 02

Gel Polish Application

Gel Polish adds colour to your nails.
IMPORTANT

The products must not come into contact with the skin or cuticles. If contact occurs, remove the uncured product before placing your hand under the UV/LED lamp.

View our full application guide here
Step 1

Step 1

Prepare the nail as shown in the nail prep section.

back to prep ›
Step 2

Step 2

Cure for 60 seconds

Apply a thin, even layer of Gel Base Coat over the entire nail (avoid contact with the skin). It is important to seal the tip of the nail along the free edge to prevent air from getting underneath. Cure your Base Coat for 60 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.

PLEASE NOTE

Our Base Coat leaves a “sticky layer” – this is intentional and helps the products bond together.

Step 3

Step 3

Cure for 60-90 seconds

Apply a thin layer of Gel Polish evenly across the entire nail. It is important to apply paper-thin layers (4 paper-thin layers are better than 2 thick ones). Seal the tip of the nail by applying Gel Polish to the edge of the nail.

Cure the Gel Polish for 60-90 seconds under the UV/LED lamp. Always cure each layer you apply for 60-90 seconds.

PLEASE NOTE

Our Gel Polish leaves behind a “sticky layer” - this is intentional, so the products can bond together.

IMPORTANT

Our products have a thick formula due to their high colour pigmentation, especially our Glitter shades. Before use, roll the product between your palms to soften the formula and help prevent air bubbles in your Gel Polish.

Step 4

Step 4

Cure 90 seconds

Finish with your Top Coat. Apply a thin layer over the nail, making sure to seal the tip. Your Top Coat helps create a durable, beautiful finish. Cure your Top Coat for 90 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.

PLEASE NOTE

Once you've sealed your manicure with your Top Coat, you'll be left with a dry, finished surface.

Step 5

Step 5

Finish by applying cuticle oil to each cuticle and the skin around the nail. The oil helps nourish and moisturize the skin around your nails. Use your fingers to massage the oil thoroughly into the entire cuticle area.

TIP

Using cuticle oil 1-2 times a day helps strengthen your nails, repair your cuticles, and keep your nails strong and flexible.

GUIDE 03

Applying Polygel

Nail Extensions with Dual Forms
View our Polygel application guide
Step 1

Step 1

Prepare the nail as shown in the nail prep section.

go back to Prep ›
Step 2

Step 2

Cure for 60 seconds

Find the right sizes of Dual Forms for your nails. It’s important that they are neither too small nor too large. They should cover the entire nail plate.

Then apply your Base Coat and cure under the UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.

Step 3

Step 3

Press a suitable amount of Polygel into the form, and dip the brush end of your brush-and-spatula tool into Cleanser. Then shape the Polygel to fit the Dual Form.

PLEASE NOTE

If your Polygel sticks to the brush, dip the brush in Cleanser again.

Step 4

Step 4

Place your Dual Form close to the cuticle without letting it touch the skin. Secure a clip around your finger, then turn your hand over so your palm faces down. Smooth the underside to create a seamless transition from the underside of the nail to your extension.

IMPORTANT

If any product gets onto the cuticles or skin, remove it before curing it.

Step 5

Step 5

Cure for 90-120 seconds

Remove the clip and cure the product for 90-120 seconds. Then carefully remove your Dual Form and wipe with a little Cleanser on a lint-free pad.

Step 6

Step 6

File the nail into your desired shape, then wipe it with Cleanser. Your nail is now ready to be finished with Gel Polish or Top Coat.

IMPORTANT

For more ways to create extensions with Polygel, visit our Guide Universe. You can extend your nails using our universal nail forms, tips, and Dual Forms.

TIP

Apply cuticle oil 1-2 times a day to strengthen your nails, repair your cuticles, and help keep your nails strong and flexible.

GUIDE 04

Applying Builder Gel

Nail extensions with Universal forms
View our full guide to Liquid Builder Gel
Step 1

Step 1

Prepare the nail as shown in the nail prep section.

back to prep ›
Step 2

Step 2

Cure for 60 seconds

Apply your Base Coat and cure in the UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.

Step 3

Step 3

Apply your Universal Form under the nail and make sure there are no gaps between the nail and the form. Check that the form sits snugly against the underside of the nail.

Step 4

Step 4

Cure for 90-120 seconds

Now apply a thin layer of Builder Gel over the entire nail and onto the form where you want the extension. Cure in the UV/LED lamp for 90–120 seconds.

Step 5

Step 5

Cure for 90-120 seconds

Remove the nail form. Apply another layer of Builder Gel and spread it evenly towards the free edge. Turn your hand upside down for 5 seconds to allow the product to self-level and create the Apex (the Apex is the highest point of the nail). Then cure under the UV/LED lamp for 90-120 seconds.

Step 6

Step 6

If you want to refine the shape with a file, first remove the sticky layer with Cleanser. Remember to cleanse with Cleanser again after filing the nail into shape.

Step 7

Step 7

Cure each coat for 60–90 seconds

Finish with a Gel Polish colour or Top Coat. Remember to cure the product between each coat under the UV/LED lamp for 60–90 seconds.

IMPORTANT

For more ways to create extensions with Builder Gel, visit our Guide Universe. You can extend your nails using our Universal Forms or Tips. Our Builder Gel can also be used to make your natural nails up to 30 times stronger, so it’s not just for extensions.

TIP

Apply cuticle oil 1-2 times a day to strengthen your nails, repair your cuticles, and help keep your nails strong and flexible.

GUIDE 05

Soak-Off Method

Removing product with Soak-Off
View the full guide
Step 1

Step 1

File off your Top Coat and Gel Polish using a nail file or an electric nail file.

Step 2

Step 2

Soak for 10-15 minutes

Now soak your Remover Wraps with Gel Remover. Place them on the nail with the cotton side facing down against the nail plate, and fold the foil tightly around the nail. Then place a nail clip on the nail and leave it in place for approximately 10-15 minutes.

IMPORTANT

Important: Leave it on only for the specified time.

Step 3

Step 3

Remove the Soak-Off Clips and Remover Wraps from your nails. Use either your Manicure Rosewood Sticks or your Cuticle Pusher to gently push the Gel Polish, Polygel, or Builder Gel off the nail. If a little residue remains at the end, use your buffer to carefully remove the final traces.

Step 4

Step 4

Cleanse your nails with our Cleanser using a Lint-Free Pad, then finish with your cuticle oil.

GUIDE 06

Magic Remover

Remove your Gel Polish with Magic Remover
Step 1

Step 1

File off your Top Coat and Gel Polish with a nail file or an electric nail file. Remove any excess dust from the nail after filing.

Step 2

Step 2

3-5 minutes · 2-3 min. per repeat

Roll your Magic Remover between your palms (please note that it has a thick consistency). Apply your Magic Remover in a thick layer — it is better to apply too much than too little. The thicker the layer, the better it dissolves the product.

Apply the product to the entire nail, but make sure it does not come into contact with the skin. Leave the Magic Remover to work for approximately 3-5 minutes. You will notice it starting to bubble up on the nail; this means the product is dissolving.

If everything has not lifted, repeat with a new layer of Magic Remover and leave the second layer to work for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3

Use either your Manicure Rosewood Sticks or your Cuticle Pusher to gently ease the Gel Polish, Polygel, or Builder Gel off the nail. If you have a little residue left at the end, you can use your buffer to remove the last small remnants. Be careful not to damage the natural nail.

Step 4

Step 4

Cleanse your nails with our Cleanser using a Lint-Free Pad, then finish with your cuticle oil.

TIP

You can find our video guide on how to use Magic Remover in our Guide Universe.

Removing Products
Step 1

Step 1

Choose the right bit depending on the product you need to remove. Please note that if you are only wearing Gel Polish, you should use either our Diamond Bit or a Sanding Band with a grit of 180 and work at a low speed. Stop filing once all the product has been removed from the natural nail.

Step 2

Step 2

Cleanse your nails using our Cleanser and a Lint-Free Pad, then finish with your cuticle oil unless you are applying a new set of nails.
