Create fun Halloween nails at home

Halloween is the perfect occasion to get creative with your nails. Here you’ll find inspiration and bundles to help you create your very own Halloween look with Gel Polish.

Explore everything from simple, sleek designs to more detailed nail art.

How to create your Halloween look

The foundation for all your Halloween nails is good preparation and the right products. Once your nails are ready, you can build your look with the colours and designs that match your desired style.

How do you create Halloween nails?

  • Start by preparing your nails. File them into shape, push back the cuticles and clean the nail plate to remove oils.
  • Apply a thin layer of Base Coat and cure in your UV lamp.
  • Apply 2-3 thin layers of coloured Gel Polish. Cure each layer in the lamp.
  • Now you’re ready to decorate with Nail Art or additional colours.
  • Finish with Top Coat and cure one last time.

Easy to create: Halloween designs for everyone

You don’t need to be an expert to create a Halloween look. Many designs are easy to create, even for beginners. Start by choosing one or two colours, then add small details to complete the look.

Which Halloween nail designs are easy to create yourself?

For a quick look, choose classic Halloween colours and go for a single-colour design. You can also create simple dots or stripes with a Nail Art brush or a dotting tool. A design like our Black Swirl Look is also a great starting point if you want to create simple patterns with Gel Polish.

Create spooky details: spiderwebs and ghosts

If you want to add designs to your nails, a thin Nail Art brush is useful. You can draw fine lines and small shapes that give your nails a spooky Halloween look. Several of our bundles include inspiration for these kinds of designs.

How do you draw spiderwebs or ghosts on your nails?

For spiderwebs, use a thin Nail Art brush and black Gel Polish. Dip the brush in Gel Polish and draw thin, curved lines from the edge of the nail towards the centre. To create ghosts, use white Gel Polish and a brush or dotting tool to shape small "ghost shapes", then draw eyes and a mouth with black Gel Polish.

The classic Halloween colours

Colours are key to creating the right Halloween mood. The classic colours are timeless and easy to work with, whether you prefer an opaque finish or a more advanced design.

Which colours are best for Halloween nails?

When you think of Halloween, you probably think of black, orange and white. These colours are the classic choices. You can also add red for a bloody effect, or purple and dark blue for a more mysterious look. Here you’ll find a wide selection of Gel Polish in all the colours you need for your Halloween nails, such as Black Swirl Look, Blood Web or Venomous Violet.
