In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to use Nail Protectors. Nail Protectors are self-adhesive rubber protectors designed to shield the skin around your nails. They help prevent gel products from touching the skin during application, reducing the risk of skin contact with the product.
Step by Step

1. Apply your Nail Protectors
Next stepApply Nail Protectors before you start applying your gel products. Place them around each nail, keeping the entire nail plate exposed while fully covering the surrounding skin. Once you are happy with the positioning, press them firmly into place.

2. Apply your products
Next stepOnce your Nail Protectors are positioned correctly, you can begin applying the products to your nail. In this step, we apply Base Coat, Gel Polish and Top Coat. If you accidentally get product on your Nail Protector while applying the products, it is important to remove it with a Micro Brush and Cleanser, so you do not risk creating an air pocket between the nail and the product. If you cure any product on top of your Nail Protector, lifting will already occur when you remove your Nail Protector, which will compromise the durability of your gel products.
Alternatively, you can apply Nail Protectors and remove them before each curing. However, this is a little time-consuming, which is why we always recommend simply removing any product that has gone outside your nail plate.

3. Remove your Nail Protectors
Once you've applied all your gel products and sealed them with Top Coat, you can remove the Nail Protectors. You've now created beautiful nails, without any product touching your skin.
