Micro Brushes: 4 Methods

Step by step guide

We may always refer to our Electric Nail File as our magic tool, but our Micro Brushes are the essential tool. Our Micro Brushes have many uses, and there may be some you don’t know about yet.

Step by Step

  • Remove product from skin

    Remove product from skin

Although we always recommend being careful with your Gel Polish to avoid getting it on your skin, we know that accidents can happen. That’s why our Micro Brushes are such a great tool. If you accidentally get product on the skin around your nail, you should remove it as quickly as possible before curing.

Simply dip your Micro Brush into our Cleanser and clean the affected area. You may need to repeat this 2 times to make sure all product is removed from your skin.

If you have our Pump Dispenser, slowly press down on the pump so the Cleanser collects in the bowl-shaped top. This makes it easy to dip your Micro Brush into the Cleanser.

  • Applying stickers

    Applying stickers

When applying stickers for nail designs, we recommend using our Micro Brushes to press the sticker into place. This helps prevent oils and dust from transferring to the nail before you finish your design. It also helps extend the wear of your manicure by keeping the area clean throughout the entire process.

  • Remove dust from the cuticle area

Remove dust from the cuticle area

When preparing your nails before applying products, dust particles will naturally settle on the nail plate and should be removed before you apply your products. Dust that collects around the cuticle area can be difficult to remove with a Lint-Free Pad. This is where a Micro Brush comes in handy. Dip your Micro Brush in Cleanser and work it along the cuticle area to remove dust and oil from around the cuticles. Then finish by wiping the rest of the nail with a Lint-Free Pad dampened with Cleanser.

If you’re someone who loves trying your hand at nail art, this tip is for you. When creating designs, it’s a great idea to have a Micro Brush ready. You don’t actually have to remove everything and start over if you’re not happy with the result. Simply dip your Micro Brush in a little Cleanser, then correct or adjust your design to the desired shape by gently removing any unwanted parts. Think of it a little like an eraser. You may need to use more than one Micro Brush. This tip is especially useful if you’re trying a French tip for the first time and it turns out a little too wide or uneven.
